The definitive source of information straight from the College board. A good place to start if you want to take the AP Exam.

Explore Biology for AP Biology
One of the true goddesses of science, Ms. Kim Foglia, has designed this site for her AP Bio students. It is by far the most useful teacher website I have ever seen. You can download notes for every topic we cover (and some we won't!), and I especially recommend you take a browse at her resources page.

Cell Structures & Functions / DNA & RNA

Cellular Visions: The Inner Life of a Cell
This is a mind- blowingly cool animation depicting the everyday processes occurring within your body's cells. Originally comissioned by a Harvard professor for use in his classes, this is arguably the most artistic rendering of a cell ever produced.

John Kyrk's Cell Biology Animations
Very elegant and easy to follow animations of many of the more difficult concepts in cell biology. Check out his DNA animations!

Raven & Berg Protein Synthesis Animation
This animation is brought to you by the publishers of your AP Bio text book. Sort of Dry but informative.

Protein Syntesis: An Epic on the Cellular Level
On an open field at Stanford University in 1971, several hundred students convened to undulate and impersonate molecules undergoing protein synthesis by a ribosome...
